Client & Challenge

Saderat Bank, one of the oldest and most established banks in the Middle East, sought a nationwide television commercial to reinforce its core brand identity. The main objective was to craft a memorable and powerful narrative that highlighted the bank’s strength, authenticity, and deep-rooted heritage.

The challenge lay in translating these abstract qualities into a visual story that resonated with a modern audience while honoring the bank’s long history.

Creative & Strategic Approach

The campaign journeyed back to the origins of Saderat Bank’s identity rather than focusing on contemporary banking services.

  • Core Creative Idea: The inspiration came from the bank’s original logo, designed by Edward Zohrab Joseph, which features a majestic horse. Universally recognized as a symbol of power, nobility, and endurance, the horse became the central metaphor for the campaign.
  • Narrative Concept: The commercial depicted multiple, magnificent horses moving in unison. This imagery symbolized not just a single entity, but a lineage and collective force—reflecting the bank’s history, generational strength, and unwavering presence in the market.

Execution & Deliverables

The concept was realized through a high-production-value television commercial designed for maximum emotional impact.

  • Cinematography & Visuals: Epic shots of horses in timeless landscapes created a grand, historic visual tone. Modern references were intentionally avoided to emphasize enduring legacy.
  • Sound Design: Galloping hooves combined with a sweeping orchestral score reinforced the sense of grandeur, history, and unwavering momentum.
